Proctored Exam Sites

EXPLORER'S GUIDE MARITIME ACADEMY PROCTORED EXAM SITES

Proctored Exam Sites for Online Classes

Explorers Guide Maritime Academy maintains a growing list of Proctored Exam Sites throughout the United States for our online USCG Captains license students. ALL PROCTORED EXAM SITES MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE USCG. We strive to have an exam site available within a 3-hour radius of each student. If this is not the case, and you need to find out how far you must travel, please give Brenda a call at 920-733-5500. We will try to arrange for an alternate site if no current site is close by.

Explorers Guide pays for the first sitting. Any retake exams are paid by the student. However, for alternative sites, the student may need to pay the proctor fee’s

ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY MEMBERS take their final exams at their base, station, etc. with their superior officer or ESO acting as proctor. When enrolling in a course, please email Brenda the full contact information of your examiner, so she can put it in your file; This email address is being protected from spambots. ALL STUDENTS - Ideally plan at least two weeks between course completion and your proctored final exam. This gives us enough time to send out exam materials to the proctor and answer any questions the site may have.

ON TEST DAY - Please be prompt in arriving at the testing site. Bring only the following items with you:

  • · Driver’s License
  • · Ruler
  • · Divider
  • · Simple calculator
  • · Pencil

No other items are allowed, such as phones, PDA’s, reference books, notes, etc.

If you have any questions about exam sites please call us at 920-733-5500 or email Brenda at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
