Are online classes right for you? The only person who can answer that question is YOU. Online classes are NOT for everyone. That is the simple truth. While 90% of our students complete our courses, it is important you do a realistic self-assessment to make sure it is right for you.
Are you self-motivated and self-disciplined? With the freedom and flexibility of the online environment comes responsibility. The online process takes a real commitment and discipline to meet course requirements and deadlines. There is not a teacher checking on your progress and prodding you along.
Can you dedicate time to the class? Online courses do not take less time than an equivalent on-campus course; they take more study time. It is easy to put it off without a set schedule, then feel overwhelmed when the work starts piling up. It is important to establish a study routine and stay with it. Pacing yourself will be the key to success.
