Event description:

A second OUPV CLASS is being scheduled to start July 20, 2020 do to county restrictions. ONly 10 in a class

Capt. Phil Easley is offering a Near Coastal OUPV Captain's class in Crescent City, CA starting July  20, 2020.

First Aid and Marine Radio Operator class are also being offered. Please contact Capt. Phil for more information; 530-923-0252.

Location: Lighthouse Inn, 681 US Hwy 101 So., Crescent City  CA 95531

Class Fee: $695 for NC OUPV; $335 for Master Upgrade class; Mate class $295. Fees include all course materials, instruction and exams.

Dates & Hours: OUPV July 20, 2020 to 28, 2020 from 8 am to 5 pm; $695. 100 Ton Master Upgrade July 15-17, 2020) 8 am to 5 pm; $335. 

Capt. Phil will take sign ups during class for the ECSI First Aid CPR class, offered on Saturday; $60 for captain students; $65 for non-captain students.

 
The Marine Radio Operator class will be offered; $150. Sign up during OUPV class or call Captain Phil; 530-923-0252. 

The four OUPV exams will be given on the last day of class. These exams include Rules of the Road, Navigation General, Plotting, and Deck Safety/General. The final exam for the Master Upgrade on last day.

If you can, we suggest getting your USCG application in before the class. This will help you get your license by the end of May. Go to our Application Help page for all the forms.

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. The remainder of the course fee is due seven days before the class. All payments must be made no later then the start of the class or you will not be permitted in the class. Deposit is refundable if the class is not held. Once the class has started there are no refunds.
