License Renewal
Your Coast Guard License Must Be Renewed Every Five Years*
Need to renew your USCG license but do not have the needed sea time? Our one-day License Renewal course for Deck Licenses will meet your needs. This means no tough Coast Guard exam, and no need to show 360 days of sea service since your last renewal.
This course will satisfu the requirements fof 46 CFR 10.227 (d)(8)(i)(B) for renewal of any deck credential for service upon vessels of not more than 100 gross tons.
When you have successfully completed the course and exam, we upload your course completion to the Coast Guard. After that, to renew your license, you simply submit your application, physical, drug screen, copy of your current TWIC, and the $95.00 fee. Done.
* There is a one year grace period during which you can renew your license but please note, during that time the license may not be used.*
●8 hours - Thursday & Friday Evening, 5-9pm
Fee: $175. This fee includes all course materials and your proctored exam.
Requirements: In order to meet the minimum requirements for the License Renewal course, the mariner must:
●Hold a USCG Merchant Mariner License of up to 100 Ton Masters
●License cannot be expired by more than one year.
