Grass Valley Class to replace Redding, CA Class. February 1 through the 9th for the OUPV NC class
Location: New Covenant Baptist Church, 12582 Squirrel Creek Road, Grass Valley, Ca
Class Fee: $745. Fee includes all course materials and exams.
Dates & Hours: Course will be held from 08:00 am to 5 PM (1700) beginning February 1 through the 9th for the OUPV NC class and February 10 to 12 for the Master Upgrade will offer all the classes in Grass Valley
First Aid and CPR will be done on Saturday at an extra cost.
OUPV Topics include:
Piloting, Marlinspike Seamanship, Navigation Rules, Magnetic Compass, Characteristics of Weather, Tides and Currents, Vessel Maneuvering and Handling, Small Engine Operations and Maintenance, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Emergency Procedures, Maritime Law, Shipboard Management and Training, Ship’s Business, Communications, and Lifesaving Appliances.
